I’m so glad that you’re joining me in listening to the audio version of my book The Diary of a Sugar Mom: Don’t Tell The Kids.
By now you’ve determined that my protagonist, Dora, is having a heck of a cab ride to the airport. She’s heading out of town to take a job which she hopes will provide for both her and her five kids.
I wrote this book as faction, because it does contain some truths and real experiences woven into the story.
I’m a survivor, provide for my five children and I too moved to a city and left the kids behind. So, listen to this story and ponder the experiences Dora is having and think about whether you, as a mom might be able to relate to any of them.
By now you’re wondering if my main character “Dora” is me. Keep listening! I may never confirm nor deny it. Either way, I’m glad you’ve come so far on this journey with Dora. (or me!)
I decided to release this series on my Sugar Mom Podcast because the book helps demonstrate what I mean by “Sugar Mom.”
We can exchange ideas about this podcast, and all my other recordings and blogs by way of www.sugarmom.net and my Twitter feed @realsugarmom. Please listen, and share.
If you can not wait for next week’s installment of The Diary of a Sugar Mom please feel free to jump ahead and buy an autographed copy of my book on my website. You can also buy the complete recording of the audio book. I’m glad it’s not just Dora in the cab! Thanks for riding along!
